How We Fire Test Tudor Boards

At Tudor Boards Ltd we hold vigorous fire tests to determine how much heat our products can withhold. As seen in the video, we hold a piece of Tudor board 100mm in front of a Yellow Map X Gas Cylinder, which releases an intense flame for 30 seconds.

Once the temperature reaches 3600-degree Fahrenheit, the heat has reached three times the temperature of an ordinary house fire or high rise fire.

At the end of the video, we can see that the plank has self-extinguished and therefore stops burning. As a result of the 30 second test, the flame could only penetrate 1.5mm of the plank with minimal damage.
